why not send yours off for rebuilding? I would think new tips from Bosch would be as good as it gets unless doing something more than farming.

8030-50-70 are all the same !! Have a diesel injection pump repair shop of your choice replace the tips with new and adjust them to 3600 psi and you are good to go. Install them with the drip line towards the valve cover.

I have new ones in stock, and I take the cores back in. But, he wanted a different route than my shop.

The part that bothers me is "find some injectors that work even BETTER"........ better than what ?? Those Bosch injectors work just fine, but they don't last forever and need to be replaced occasionally.

I think he meant if he could find some tips only, he would like that better. I've had so many times with these injectors that someone will try to do a low buck "rebuild" and not lap the mated surfaces, then they end up leaking externally. This is one reason many shops won't sell just the parts anymore.

What I meant was I had my diesel injection guy check mine and out of the bunch I had one with a bad tip. He's been in the business for 50+ years and has been rebuilding the majority of our pumps for years and all of our injectors we haven't had any problems out of any of is work. He had just told me that if I found him a replacement tip he would put it in free of charge and I didn't know if anyone had one in old inventor because I got a whole set for a 8010 but they have a smaller opening. That was all that was meant by better was the fact he was going to install if free of charge.

He can't get nozzles? The 8010 is a totally different setup, same as 6080, nozzle is different, and retaining nut too, to fit heads with copper tubes. I have some new old stock nozzles for an 8030/7045 etc. They do actually call for a smaller hole nozzle than the 8050/8070. What part number you looking for?

74036651 and he is currently searching for me one. I knew that the 8010 and 6080 was the same with a .33 mm orifice and the 8030 has a .36 mm orifice.

the 4036651 is an AMBAC NBM770022. I'd sure think a good pump shop would keep them in stock. I keep 12 on hand.
