Topic: 3 point conversion kit D-17Posted: 18 Nov 2015 at 10:53am |

I purchased a 1959 D-17 that had a 3 point conversion kit already on the tractor. I then purchased a 3 point hay stabber it fits but
I have not been able to use it when I raise the arms the hay stabber actually lowers making it so the bale slides off. Any Idea is it the 3 point conversion that isn't adjusted correctly or is it the hay stabber that is the problem. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. |

Is it two of three point mount. Mine rest under the arm so a different arm might rest different.

I think he's talking about the adjustable top link that is in the bracket between your PTO and your seat.

I use a separate top link for my pallet fork attachment that I do for other things. its a good old heavy IH link and is easier to adjust under load than the cheapo new ones you get nowadays
