Sadly there are no records for serial numbers on the Allis or Simplicity tractors.  I went through the same thing with mine trying to verify what the previous owner told me.  Now I can't remember the name of the dealership but supposedly it was the last 720 sold in Gardner, KS in 1972.  My brother is BIG into the Allis lawn tractors and is trying to get permission to publish manuals online.
