    Posted: 18 Apr 2020 at 4:50pm
I have 65' 190XT 3 with the D2900 engine less turbo. From what I can tell the turbo was completely removed and exhaust just straight piped up.  My concern is how much HP will I have less the turbo and will the tractor perform well without it?   Also, if anyone can fill me in on how the oil pressure gauge works and where its located I would be grateful. Further if anyone has an oil gauge and assembly laying around I would be interested in it. Thanks.

I'd think it wouldn't run very good at all. No boost no power, smoke etc.  Not an expert but I think the non turbo 301s are 70-85 hp max at the flywheel depending on setup.

It's pretty much a straight 190 which was 77 PTO HP. Probably smoke a lot unless the injection pump has been turned down.

There is no oil pressure gauge on these tractors.  They use a red low pressure light on the dash.  The sensor is behind the fuel filter on the right side of the engine.

Thanks everyone for the input you guys are great!  Would it be worth the cost of putting a tubo on it as I'm only going to pull my 15' batwing with it on 40 acres?
