The Parts Catalogs for these plows do not list any of the various styles of bottoms used. Where or what catalog would show the parts for the different bottoms and coulters? Also is there a description somewhere listing the benefits/purposes of the different bottoms and accessories on the 2000 Series plows? The Operators Manuals don't contain this information either.

The bottoms coulters and jointer are in a separate parts catalog all to themselves. I suppose there is some sales literature that describes the differences and benefits of the different bottoms, however I've never seen anything from Allis Chalmers doing so. I have seen this published from other manufactures.
   Any Allis Chalmers bottom will bolt to any Allis Chalmers plow.
If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.
Real pullers don't have speed limits.
If you can't make it GO... make it SHINY

The parts book that I have for the 2000 plow has the different bottoms and coulters in it. As well as the agco on line parts book. The 387 is the only bottom I know of that parts are still available.

The short wing 386 and 387 used the same 4 bolt point - the 392 394 used a 5 bolt share You could get 14 16 or 18" points in different configurations. I remember Bullet points, Deep Suck points , hard surfaced etc...   Herschel shows the 4 bolt in 16" and 18" the 16" can be used on a 14" plow.

I have 2 different AC 2000 plow brochures. Here is what they read about their moldboards. In general, all offered 3 bottom reset choices~ Automatic (hydraulic accumulator), spring trip, or shear bolt.

AC Plow sales brochure AED-297/7301 (Ag Equip Div. 297, 1973, January. It says the AC Monoframe 2000 could have 3 different moldboards;
387 “”general purpose moldboard. Has exceptional covering & soil fracturing ability.. is suited to most areas. It’s hefty frog extends well down on the plow share for extra protection against stones.”
386 “short moldboard. Has same rugged construction as the 387, but the moldboard is shorter & has more curvature for increased scouring ability. It also works well in extremely sandy soils.
390 “high speed moldboard. Has a 37deg angle of approach to the soil and is recommended for fast deep plowing.
They could be ordered as a 16” or 18” cuts. All had vertical clearance of 28.5”.

AC Plow sales brochure AED 405/7605-R (1976 May). It says the AC 2000 series Monoframe could have chose of 4 moldboards;
386 “has a 45deg blade for good soil fracture & a short moldboard for improved scouring ability. It also works well in Sandy soils.”
387 “has a 45deg blade for good soil fracture & a full moldboard for improved trash covering ability.”
392 “has a full moldboard for high speeds and light drafts and a 35deg blade for high speeds and light draft.”
394 “slat bottom is designed for soils where difficult scouring problems exist. By reducing the soil contact area, the draft load & the scouring characteristics are improved.”
Could be ordered with either 16” or 18” cuts & all had a vertical clearance of 32”.
