If I remember correctly,,,I have a 1989 GMC one ton trk with a 454 Automatic and the dreaded TBI. I would like to change the TBI to a 4 barrel carburator and remove all the extra BS that has to be almost perfect for the frigging TBI to run correctly.
I'm positive that with so many DIY's on this site ,,,that many have already done this conversion successfully,,,!!!
I don't have a manifold yet but do have several Holly carbs from 650 to 1200 CFM.
Anyone wanna share some knowledge,,,??? Many Thanks in advanceClapClap

Ive got a 88 3500 gmc i did all that too. Got a edelbrick aluminun intake and fuel pressure regulator from jegs. Got a stage 2 quadrajet from national carbureator. Put a hei ditributor in it. Its geared 4.56 so i put a 4l80e in it. Now its trouble free and is sweet as sugar
