I am sure I read on this forum about replacing the pilot bearing on a WD45 with a sealed bearing, removing the cork from the crankshaft and threading the end of the crankshaft and installing a threaded plug.
I have searched and I have had no luck finding anything. Does anyone have any experience doing this. What size plug should be used. Any tricks that I should know? Should the plug have (red) Loctite? |

The WD45 used a wick in the end of the crank other than a handful of engines that used a cork. Not sure what benefit you'd gain going to a sealed bearing. AaronSEIA
