Hi All,

I've broken 2 leaf springs on my HD6, does anyone know if there is an aftermarket spring that can be purchased? I'm in New Zealand.

Is it possible to slide out the 2 broken ones and replace them without taking the whole leaf pack off? Any tips or tricks on the best way to do this would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance....

If you haven't already done it, you might also post in the Construction Equipment section

I have no idea of what is available in New Zealand, however around here there are many shops that make truck springs. If you have something like that, you could take the broken pieces to them and they could make new ones that match the size and curvature.
If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.
Real pullers don't have speed limits.
If you can't make it GO... make it SHINY

I assume they are a stack of leaf springs. If so, there is a center bolt that draws the whole stack of individual springs tight together in the center. No way to repair in-chassis.
