Found 4 Country Gentleman/Country Gentlewoman magazines from 1942/1943. There are 2 great AD's from AC that I will post tomorrow. Given War times, there are great ad's, etc in them. Wished I had access to more.

Tushonka is a kind of canned stewed meat especially popular in the CIS and other countries of the former Soviet Union.
Russia's version of "Mystery Meat." During the war, there were versions of this ration made from pork, chicken and beef, as well as horse, hence the "mystery." The label is a replica of a 1941 ration label indicating “pork”, but many of the 1941 and 42 dated tins did not reach troops until 1943-44, as they were being held in reserve.

You know, almost all the combines we sold in Maryland had baggers on them.
Also, I remember attaching those Farm Commando decals to the tractors we repaired in WWII.
Love those ads.

Wow, i like them all, look at the one about scrap iron at the bottom of the ad. Just shows how big of impact AC and the farmer had in winning the war. We needed all the scrap metal we had. Now these days we have no use for so much metals, we send all of it... even our old AC's that helped win the war, to china. Some day it will all come back and bite us.. being it is going overseas.. to people who have no good use for us.
