This is one of the better fenders I have seen! I have fixed worse ones.

You are making good progress. Way to go!
I too have never heard of a sandblast cabinet that big. You are so fortunate to have a friend who lets you use it! Mike |

Definitely not the worst I have seen either. A lot of times that section has to be replaced. It is border line at this point but I am choosing to use metal to metal to save it since it’s behind the mounting plate. Rust damage is all the way through but not near as bad on the wheel side. Body work isn’t my forte, I can’t weld thin metal and fabrication adds costs. Lots of pitting and dents everywhere else. New fenders are out of the question at this point, dropped serious cash in the most important parts that make her run and operate correctly. It’s not a show tractor, just want it to look nice while I use it on the farm.

Took a little time away from body work and painted one of my grills. This is a used one I purchased that already has the knock outs removed for my brush guard. I really like the 3 bar grills, haven’t painted my new grill yet as I used this one as a test to see how to tape it off. I think I’m going to paint the silver first this time and then mask it off to paint the black.

I really like this metal to metal stuff. Pretty easy to work with and it is stronger than regular Bondo. Water doesn’t affect it . Seat isn’t perfect but it meets my requirements, for a farm tractor.
