I am trying to put a new shift boot on one of my WF's. How do you get it over the reverse lockout mechanism at the bottom of the shift lever?
Does anyone know if the rocker for the lockout mechanism has a small bolt threaded into the shift lever or is it just a rivet? Any tips on how to install a new boot? ![]() |

i took all of mine apart on my wc it all needed worked over any way. but put a big tapered punch in the boot and run it under hot water , push punch in farther and then have every thing greased and ready to go when you remove the punch before the hole gets small again
