There is no factory provided "adjustment". One may re-work the shift rail detent location to allow it to shift (say .100") deeper into engagement. Also increase the shift rail detent ball spring pressure. Typically, the jump out occurs going down a hill while coasting, not under a pull. It is what it is. Could also be a broken fork, but not likely.

If it has only jumped out one time, I would not worry too much about it. If it becomes more common, you might want to look into fixing it. Caused by grinding gears. Mine actually jumped out of 3rd gear going uphill - contrary to most others jumping out going down hill. I replaced the transmission with one from an industrial D14 - had a shuttle shift, so it was not exposed to gear grinding.
