Any one have the good, the bad, or the ugly on 940 Allis payloaders. I am pretty close to sealing a deal on one, and decided I better check with the experts on here before I 100% commit to it. Kind of bummed out cause I can't find my Norm Swinford construction equiupment book. That would have some good info in it for me. Thanks, Darrel

Darrell, I have had a 940 loader for over 20 years. We used it for loading and unloading machinery when we.had the dealership. Moved lots of snow and leveled several dugout mounds with.it. I kept it when the dealership closed because it was my favorite toy. Has been very trouble free for the most part. Starts hard when cold, takes a long while to warm up. Not as heavy as a 545,way more power than my brothers 840. Still not interested in updating it yet.

Thanks Tim. Perhaps the one I am looking at is in your neighborhood. It's at Aberdeen. Darrel
