Gentlemen,

Need some ideas on how to lighten up the front of a WD. Currently, weigh-in at 3540 and would like to loose about 100#. Is it possible to remove the hand clutch/pulley housing as there is nothing in there anyhow. What say ya'll?

My WD weighs 3100 with 15.5 x 38 tires, wheelie bars, the torque housing and weight racks. Change out your front pedestal to one from a WC and you should lose some weight.

Thanks Doc.  Would any generic WC FE work or is there a particular Yr or # that would be best.

Older is probably better, but I'm sure any WC will probably weigh less than any WD.

Probably, because it is either the same as a WC or even lighter yet.
