8010 or 7000

Anyone know where I can find a real nice 8010 or 7000? Preferably an 8010, or a 7000 black belly. I am looking to spend top buck if it is real nice. Thank you. I am in Wisconsin but would travel.

8010 listed on tractor house in Minnesota.

I am open to those two models as well. I would prefer that 100hp range for cutting hay though. I haven't seen many of those either, unfortunately.

That is a sharp one. I didn't think they were rated for a 146hp? What did they weigh? We have a 7040 that was rated for 140.

123 on the pto, 106 at draw bar, use it like a 110 hp tractor and it does just fine. As doc said, 7010, 7020 and 8010 are the same 301 motors that the 180,190 and 200 had. But the 7010 and 7020 have the same basic trans as the 8030, 8050 and 8070 whether it's pd or PS. I have a pd 7020, use on the 20' stalk chopper, 15' bush hog and water pump mainly. Good tractor, but the 80xx cabs or such an improvement.

Seriously consider a 8030. The weight of an 8010 with the 301 isn’t a good combo I’ve been told.

Victoryallis, I'll agree the 301 in the 7010, 20 and 8010 is not a powerhouse, especially with a power direct trans. My 7020 doesn't like to pull out on the highway in 5th. In tillage applications, the  7010, 20 and 8010 will not impress anyone either. They are 110 hp tractors in 160 hp sheet metal, some people expect to much.  But....and this is important...the 7010, 20  and 8010, with POWER SHIFT TRANS, used as a haying tractor or spraying tractor or any light duty job is as handy as a 2 peckered billy goat. We have an XT and 2, 200's, they have a minimum of 12,000 to 15,000 hrs. Did lots of field work back in the 70's. They are used as spare's now, on the 3 pt forklift, ditcher, grain augers in the fall and so on. The 301's are tough little power house's,... if taken care of. That's why I wanted an 8010, for my application, it's perfect. 10k less than a freakin Deere, the comfy cab, fuel economy of the 301 and with the same basic ps tranny and rear end (smaller axles and finals) as the rest of the 80xx....that little 301 sure aint gonna hurt the drive train....it should last another 15,000 hours...if I take care of it...and I will...
