What tank sealer would you guys suggest?I want to pull my I600 tank out since it seaps fuel around the bung at the bottom.Doesn't look real bad inside but you can see spots of rust.THinking it is a weld leaking since it is damp wet but not drooling wet.I also where can I find a replacement Cap?RIght now the cap consist of a cut off spray can as the cap is gone.Looks like it had a latching flap style once.

I would take it out and clean off the paint and find the leak.

Alot of times it a rust hole just getting started. If you clean the area reaaly good with a wire brush on a drill and wash it down good with some acetone JB weld might be the way to go. JB Weld also has a product called Waterweld and I think it can be applied to a gas tank that is wet with gas and still leaking gas. Check it out. |

I have used JB and Red Kote with good results. I also use Seal All, it comes in a tube and will seal wet gasoline. It is available at most auto parts stores.
