It was minus 40 degrees here last night and got up to whole -30 today, going to -40 again tonight so I'm going to open the door and send some of this cold down to Blair Neb. and see if that Machine will freeze up solid.!!

i was going to ask if that was celsius or farhenhiet .... but at that temp is dont make any difference !!

-40 Celsius = -40 Degree Fahrenheit You are correct.. Even with zero Celsius being 32 on the positive side... the scales are enough different that the above is a correct statement...
I don't like cold and luckily I am far enough away from that parallel line up north that we get some cold but not THAT cold.

A Balmy 75'F yest. here on the shores of south Alabama.
The same 75' is forecast for to-day as well.

I was thinkin' about a big fan myself to move that frigid air outa here. But I might be more inclined to aim it east to Ottawa to freeze out those political types that hangs out there!!

Growing up in southern Wisconsin, -20 to -30 was not unheard of most winters.
Glad we moved to Texas in 2013.

BRRRRR Cold!! -10-to -20 here once in a REALLY Blue Moon, but does get brutal as stays HUMID doing so.
