   Morning Pinball:  While Santa hasn't left any H-4 crawlers yet at my place, I do have a AC D14 with a G-149 block.  That said, have conducted a few experiments with plugs in that engine and found that NGK's work well along with NAPA blue streak condensor and points.  
   
  Seemingly, with the engineering talent that we have here in the U.S. it would seem that  we should be able to have U.S. built ignition and spark components that work equally as well.  Sadly that is not the case anymore.  Heck, with supply chain nonsence am finding it hard to find Autolite 295 plugs that work well in some of the AC, Kohler and Tecumseh engines of old.   HTH's ~  Orangeman

   Get a pertronix electronic  ignition kit, and you won't need to replace P & C again.  Labor to install the kit, is about the same as installing P & C!

   Engine is a 2200 series engine and same block as the diesel unit but set up for gas .
