We are here. Took the new pickup and pulled the 16' tandem axle enclosed trailer here. 35 MPH side wind made it a little squirly. I could not put the anti away hitch on the trailer. The trailer has a boxed frame and the dang hitch is made for an open frame tongue. Will get home and have Ben weld the brackets on the tongue. Other than that it pulled very well. No warm wheel bearings when we got here. We'll sleep in it tonight. Guess it's a good possibility we'll be at Hutch next year. The boys sent me a message and said to buy 2 electric grease guns?? Do INeed to grease every combine there?

This my favorite time of the year,,,the weather is nice and temps are in the "crisp" range,,,not quite cold enough for a jacket,,,long sleeve flannel will do nicely most of the day,,,days are still long enough you can get some work done,,,, ![]() I see a steady stream of huntin vehicles headed west up to the mountains,,every day and every dang one of them pullin a trailer with at least 2 of them side by sides (SBS)and lots of them with three of them SBS on them fancy trailers,,,,,,where them rich Texans get all thet money,,,???
![]() Most of them trailers DO gots Texas tags on em,,,,I should stay quiet,,,2 of our boys live in Texas and Jeff who been in the Air Force for 28 years is fixin to retire and,,,,,and,,,,move to Ft. Worth where he's goin to work for a big Air Force contractor there. His Momma is sure glad we don't gots to worry bout him gettin sent overseas no more,,,unless,,,,,,Naw,,,I ain't gonna say it,,,,,,, |
