Hello folks,
Looking for any suggestions on where to buy a replacement voltage regulator for my AC200. I've tested the alternator by jumping the battery post to the F terminal and got full charge out of the alternator, so I'm pretty sure my non-charging issue is the VR. There are quite a few places to buy a factory-type replacement. I also thought I saw a post somewhere saying that "solid-state" replacements are a better idea. Any thoughts on whether you would go with a factory-type.... and where you would buy from? Thank you in advance! |

I replaced the regulator on my 190XT two years ago with a solid state one from Amazon, about $30. It had a Transpo label, seems to work so far. I don't know if you can find an original (non solid state) regulator anymore.

I have a couple NOS old style voltage regulators left for the DELCO alternators.

If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.
Real pullers don't have speed limits. If you can't make it GO... make it SHINY |

Thanks guys,
I ordered one from B and B as well as a new pigtail. I was impressed with their WD45 wiring harness that I bought years ago, so I went with them. Thank you all for your thoughts! |
