Of all the stuff I work on I refuse to even touch a domestic refrigerator until this old box came along. The freezer had an old repair where somebody used a knife to chip the ice away, the freezer looks like it should have holes everywhere but it holds pressure. It was out of refrigerant and it turns out the leak was the old screw on saddle valve that was put on when the repair was made. A little welding, a new fitting, and a shot of that old R-12 I've had stored away for years and she's back to life again. Now I have to find a place put it.
