Finally an end to being bombarded with political ads! At least for a few weeks before it all starts again (at least it seems like a few weeks). In any event, I hope you all did your civic duty and voted early and often.
Almost looking forward to the ED and other drug commercials, Almost...

For those of us who can remember the FIRST phones,,,,,,,,,there were NO politicians calling and bombarding us with their crap. If they'd of done that, NOONE would have voted for em. Then along came the rotary phones and they still left us alone in the early years. But eventually they got the idea,,,,,,,,and it's been hell ever since.
NOW, along comes the cell phone and I LOVE mine!! It shows WHO is calling and you can just IGNORE it!! I LOVE IT!!
Now, if only we could do that with the TV..... I don't have one of them recorder thingys,,,,,so I'm stuck.
Don't take this drug if you're going to have a heart attack (WHO KNOWS THAT????), if you've ever had one, if you're pregnant or thinking of becoming pregnant, if you're allergic to,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,etc. etc. With all the BAD things that can happen,,,,,,,,WHY WOULD YOU EVER????? Really makes me wonder!!

We were up in Mo. a week or so back. We stopped in a diner for lunch. The waitress asked if we voted early. We said no and she told us that she did. Then she told us she was 55 years old and it was the first time she ever voted. My coworker asked why she decided to start voting at that age? She told him because she was voting for marijuana.

Ahem,,,actually I wasn't done from post above,,,, After thinkin bout all the results last nite,,,,,,What we saw was not so much a Demo victory in the house as a great many dems would just not totally abandon their chosen party,,, but instead voted for more moderate dem candidates and shifted more to the middle instead of staying to the extreme left. I seriously doubt peeloosy is gonna have her way like before,,which may be a victory for the conservatives in a round-a-bout way,,,Here's hopin anyway. OK,,I'll leave it alone,,,,,,

Thanks for a good laugh Ted,over here in  wacko land I needed one. Cause by wacko thinking you better be real careful cause you could be pregnant  and not even guess.
If you ever get it put in front of you for a vote DON"T VOTE IN A OPEN PRIMARY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The top 2 in primary for US senator was 2 blue gems. What really ticks me off no place for a write in. I know a write has no chance ,so why no give me one of them feel good places like all the Snowflakes get.
