watched a video on you tube last night about an Angel Flight. on the Military plane I saw the American Flag as I faced it looking at it, the stars were on the right side instead of on the left as I have always looked at it. is there a special meaning to this?

? back side of the flag... the camera reversed it... you saw the mirror image ... ? other than that, no idea.

Yes... depends on which side of the plane, vehicle you are on.... The stars are in the FRONT so it looks like the flag is blowing in the wind, with the STARS leading the way.

the plane I was looking at, the flag was on what we would call "the drivers side" like on a car. the stars were on the right side of the flag.

While technically correct.... 90% of the people use the terms interchangable.. and EVERYONE knows what they mean.

Might get blown up for this, I LOVE my country, [been round the world a couple a times]. I love the flag, I mean just like it's been forever, stars stripes red white & blue in the proper places! Have to grimace  when someone puts their profession colors on it. I happen to love AC tractors, don't think I want any orange on my flag. No disrespect but just cause you're a fireman, don't put extra red in, policeman don't put extra blue in. like to hunt? Sorry no camo on the flag please. I feel 4 yrs. in USMC gives me the right to feel this way, sorry sometimes just need to rant !! keith so. va.

I agree with you. And I'd have no problem with someone saying that, they disagree, as long as they don't yell and scream about how wrong they think you are.

Agreed. Those folks all deserve special thanks and respect for their service and dedication, and you as well. But no more so than our country itself which makes this all possible. And yes, I respect those who disagree…agreeably
