How do you adjust a schuttle clutch on AC Forklift? It was one of the first AC forklifts dated approx 1960

If they're anything like a D15 shuttle clutch, 1960ish versions, adjustments are made with the clutch on the bench. Measure front side and measure back side and shim as needed. Tractor versions don't have an external adjustment like a car clutch. I could be way off here.
