I have an old Army AC Forklift. I can't find the serial # or model # but from the looks of it and the lift data plate it is an ACP-50. It has the 4cyl Continental gas motor and pneumatic tires. I downloaded the Army tech man TM-10-3930-644-14 and all the diagrams and info seems to match up. I blew the steering cylinder and need to rebuild it. The kit referenced is 4906332-4, which is not correct. I ordered the kit and it looks nothing like the pieces I need. Curiously that part# is also listed for the tilt cylinder, which the parts match the pics in the TM. I'm at wits end trying to find the proper kit for the cylinder. Does anyone have any ideas or alt part #s?
Thanks

Update, number on the right side of the frame is 107254 and number on the mast is E7TF559 if this helps.

Sounds like someone may have swapped a cylinder at some point?? When I'm faced with this, I carry it into my local hydraulics shop, and have them measure the seal surfaces, and order in the correct size pieces. They have cross-reference books for all sorts of seals, O-rings, wipers, etc.

Ten Amendments, Ten Commandments, and one Golden Rule solve most every problem. Citrus hand-cleaner with Pumice does the rest.

Dave has one idea to solve problem , another is to go to Surplus Center and see what they have to replace present unit with something they have listed .

Life lesson: If you’re being chased by a lion, you’re on a horse, to the left of you is a giraffe and on the right is a unicorn, what do you do? You stop drinking and get off the carousel.
