I have one and its awesome. Heats up immediately. Adjust the heat level for normal cook times.

Got one 3 years ago. Almost tossed it at first! Love it now! You don't turn the fire down- it seers immediately cooking the juices inside! I use potato nails, put them on 30 minutes before the meat. I got a remote read meat thermometer, flip the meat at 105 and take it off at 160! W/O the thermometer I was just burning it beyond recognition!
