Anyone have a lead on a seal for the water pump. In my manual its the type 2 water pump. It all looks good except the seal fell apart.
That was the first time i needed a 3/4 set and hydraulics to change a water pump. |

I ceased rebuilding pumps a long time ago and started sending them to a place in Houston, TX. They can repair most anything I've found with quick turnaround.
www.waterpumpkits.com is their website.

HD6 with 6000 engine water pump seals were available from Minpaar. Came is a Agco badged box. You need the updated part number starting with a 7.

As per Mervs comment...the part number for the complete pump looks to be 74359281......the new number is 74320996..that number for a complete water pump assembly shows to be available at Minnpar for 513.00 $eal assembly 74507091 also shows available for$22.00...didn't look at any of the other parts for availabiliyy. As per Codgers comment...we quit rebuilding those years ago...and would opt for a new or rebuilt one. FYI...we have a master numerical index to update part numbers that were changed send me a part number and I can check it....It's helpful when trying to go to Minparr...also have a book of discontinued numbers

FWIW
Looks like this one should go from a makers part number to a Timken equivalent. I'll see if I can find the title of that IBR one, as it does multiple bearig makers. For even more conveniencent- the FA 10 parts book has a table in the back that goes from Fiat numbers to standard bearing size talk
