Could anyone tell how to adjust for end thrust in a WD? Thank you all for keeping A/C alive and well

Hi Mack could you tell me where the thrust bearing is, I believe I did know but that was about 20 years ago. Thank you.

Front main bearing is the thrust.

Yes Thank you for jogging my memory. I am now on #7 in the W series and never really got into the bottom of these beautiful powerful engines. Building a shop almost exclusively for my small collection. I have found no other engine like it which turns 1400 rpms and makes 29 pure horses

I recently purchased the desired combination of a WD block with a WD-45 crankshaft and big valves, dished pistons + marvel schebler 871 carb with a 4 bolt wide front end.
