I have three FM mags can anyone tell me if these will fit AC tractors?
All are flange mountings
The models are
FM OR4B3 (this one has orange paint on it)
FM OR4B4 ( looks the same as the above one has yellow paint on it)
FM K4B4A ( Guessing it is back in the 30's made different than the rest)
FM J4B9C ( guessing it was made in the 50's)

Not at the shop with my book in front of me, but if those particular units are flange mount with 30 degree's lag angle, and CW rotation, one of them will probably work. Look on the back of the flange where it sits flush on the govenor housing and see if its stamped 30 degree's. If the impulse snaps CW, it could possibly be a good canidate to use on an AC engine with that rotation.... HTH |
