We all know that baling is hard work, but there is something soothing about a photo like this. There is something about the consistancy of it, about knowing the value of hard work and the satisfaction from a job well done. (Not to mention that is a fine looking 200!) Warm sun on your shoulders and the relief when a cool breeze finally comes by for an instant. How good that cool water from a jug tastes, and how resting under a shade tree is so satisfying. The comraderie of working with others for a common goal-even if you have to pay the others when the job is finished.
I think maybe that is enough nostalgia for now.........

That 348 is the best baler ever made. Bar none. I can't fault you for that. But if you don't own a NH bale wagon, to pickup those bales, you should be institutionalize...........

We pull some green. Van Brunt/John Deere grain drill.
Really a Van Brunt with John Deere's name on it so I guess that is ok. I guess. |
