Are
both of these Model B front steering arm assemblies factory correct? As shown in the images, one has a cupped
washer welded on, the other does not. This serves to shield the upper end of the
spindle housing on a wishbone front end.
It helps to deter water and dirt from getting into the spindle
bushings. Just curious if this was a
factory fix or done after the fact by an individual owner. Regards, Jim in Austin |

Both are factory correct. The one without the cupped washer is very rare according to my book, only on the first 101.
