have outlets installed on the trusses instead of hardwiring. install 3x of these/truss, 1 dead center and 1 5ft from the wall on each end. Space the lights every 5th truss with lights on each end of the building

I ended up going with some LED gooseneck lights from seuslighting.com and they've been solid so far. They throw a good amount of light over my workbench and out by the doors. The install was pretty easy too, and I liked that they had a bunch of size and color options. Price wasn’t bad compared to others I looked at.

I keep having bad luck with those 4' LED lights. They last 2-5 years then die and are a pain to replace. If I had to do again I'd just put in a bunch of old sockets and screw in bulbs.

Outlets and ufo lights from Amazon work well, if you want 20 years out of them spend the money on commercial fixtures.
