Ok I picked up this hammermill, local, cheap price, and probably a pig in the poke.  Cant identify it.  Notice the hammers dont "flop" - are fixed - the lettering looks like a "N" and a weird "E" and a small number "42"  Nothing I have found on the web matches close enough.  I wonder if this was some local thing.  The big casing over the hammer is welded together...weird....

I've never seen one like that. Then again, most around here were W-W Grinders, built in Kansas I think? 
I believe the reason for the hammers not moving is because when the hammer gets worn, you loosen the bolt and rotate the hammer 1/4 turn and tighten back up to get a new edge.
