do all wd45s with or without  factory power steering have the same throttle linkages ? i have a gerator and pump for my 52 wd for power steering,   i still need to get a tank and brackets and pulleys .        instead of modifieing the throttle shaft i was thinking about finding a linkage like on my 55wd45

Factory power steering requires completely different throttle linkage to get around that huge steering control device.

Well, neither of us has been with that tractor the last 50 years. It must have had power steering on it at some time. I have a very late model 1957 WD45 without power steering and it has the older non-power steering throttle linkage as I assume others like it did too..

I agree with the Dr.The power steering and non power steering linkages are different. and one w/o power steering probably had power steering at some time.  If the pictures aren't too bad  The first on is non powersteering and the arrow points to the linkage.  The second is powersteering and the arrow points to the same spot to show no linkage.

i guess i am missing somehing here,  the non power steering wd45  from the factory  has the same linkage as my wd  correct ?   so i need to look for a doner wd 45 with factorty power steering .   sounds like i will just have to put a little offset in my throttle shaft when i install the charlyn setup   . it would be so easy if i new some one that has some wd45 s around here to look at besides mine
