How do you mount the controls for the hydraulic control arm with a monroe seat on a C?

Monroe supplied a hydraulic lever bracket (see #16388 below) as part of the seat assembly. Most have disappeared over the years, although I've managed to find a couple. A common practice seems to have been to remove the factory seat frame, but leave the portion where the hydraulic lever attached.
