On a styled WC, what color do you paint the starter, generator, and lights?

Best I have heard from all those on here, is Allis dunked these tractors in orange, so those would be orange to.  Some will paint them black, and they do look nice black, but word seems to be that through the WD-45 it was hit or miss on what they were from the factor, but more than likely they were orange.  It just depended on what was mounted when it went to paint.
Still in use:

O-NO and I thought it was going to be a slow night on here. lol
I'd paint the starter, lights and generator all black. but that's not how the WC came new.
3 WD45's with power steering,G,D15 fork lift,D19, W-Speed Patrol, "A" Gleaner with a 330 corn head,"66" combine,roto-baler, and lots of Snap Coupler implements to make them work for their keep.

LOL  when it comes to colour it does seem to get interesting.  The starter on our 48wc was orange.  the lights where black with orange support arms. Nothing on this tractor has been repainted...yet.  But I'm sure all these tractors varied right from the factory.  The maintenance manual has many intentional variances in their drawings.  I would try to see on yours if there is any paint left,  there should be some sign unless you don't think the parts are original.

I don't know how much of this WC is from this WC or from others. I know the motor was replaced. I was told that hood and fuel tank were stolen off of it at one time. It was bought new by either my uncle or grandpa for my uncle.  Grandpa bought my dads "C" for him when he started farming. While I was gone for a weekend, dad bought me a UC. These are family favorites and will never be sold as long as I live.

Starters and generators were usually orange from the factory but most have been rebuilt or replaced and were painted black as part of the reconditioning.

Seems like there's not really any consistancy in how they were painted. Here's what my 59 D17 Has and nothing has been replaced except the coil which was black. Starter, generator, oil filler cap on valve cover are all black. The dist has a little orange at the base and the rest unpainted. the coil bracket is unpainted, it looks to be cadium plated or something as it's not rusty. now if I could just figure out what color the grill screens are supposed to be I would be happy. The frame and crossbars are black but I can't quite tell what color the screens were. This has been discussed on here before nut there didn't seem to be an aggreement.
