The 7580 on tractor house in Oregon. What’s the cover on grill. I can imagine what its function. Was that a farmer build of factory option.

I think it is farmer built, Allis would have had holes for the lights I think…
It looks like a weight or something…

Could the front grill cover have been to keep the radiator from clogging with  something since the air in take is mounted on the roof of the cab? Maybe it was used in a very dusty environment or something.

I think after looking at it again the air cleaner on the roof is fresh clean air for the cab not the engine….
