When you start a NEW TOPIC, there is a GREEN TREE ICON on the top of the text box.. Click on that and up comes a box with access to your hard drive or desk top.. Find the photo you want and click on it, then download........... photos should be about 800 x 600 pixel size...... shrink your photo using paint brush or similar before you try to upload.
Like them all, but love the "B"s.

iPhone not quite so straightforward, but can be done.  That's why I asked.

I find doing it on the iPad easiest. But I did just order a new confuser  so I’ll see how I like it in a few weeks.

If I did it right with my iPhone, you select the tree icon with the upward green arrow. Then a box pops up to choose where the pic comes from. Choose library, click on the pic you want. Then it gives a size choice. The original size is usually too big so I choose large size. Click upload and it should go.

The problem with uploading right from your device is, you have limited file storage on this site, and will eventually have to delete old pics to bring up new ones. When you delete from your file manager, the pic is gone from your original post.
If you upload pics to some other storage server and link to them, they will always be available from your old posts. Unless your storage server decides to "Photobucket" your pictures :(
