A couple years ago, actually exactly two years ago today,  I watched a 12' SC pull disk, don't believe it had wheels, sell for $750!  I expected to get it for $150 or so.  Talked to the buyer after the sale, he bought it to cut up and make two ditch closers.  Ditch closers are used on grain fields to pull dirt into the temporary irrigation ditches used to get water to higher places in the field.  Ditch closers are usually built out of old disks but sell for $300 to $900.  I just couldn't see the logic to pay that much for that disk.
