Case 150 combine. Anyone ever ran one? A friend of mine saw one in some weeds, and I got to thinking...
Here's a pic of one I found online. 

You can probably figure out what I'm thinking...why did Case put the operator's platform on the other side of the bin, so you can't see the auger? It would seem you're kinda shooting in the dark when you're pulling up beside a wagon or truck to dump. I guess you could always use your header as a guide, but still, that seems pretty odd.

neighbor had two of those ,but i never seen them run but igot the seats off of them before the scraper and a service manual and parts book that was in a tool box on it that servievd the years

This is even more off topic...
Your speaking of scrapper and saving parts got me thinking... I figured out how I can make a little money while I'm in college. 
Get parts off of old machines, and do stuff like this. Think it'd sell? I saw a few at Hutch, but I don't know how many, if any, were bought.

Looks like a tall guy could sit and see over the grain box to the auger. The rest of us would have to stand up while unloading. Without a ceiling over the operator's head standing would be handy.

city bots will buy them things Creston and pay BIG BUCKS for them! but you'd hafta sell them cheaper to us poor farmers!
