i have an allis chalmers wd45 and the governor doesn't work i've had it out and the wieghts and the thrust bearing all look good but it will not respond you can move the throttle off idle and it will just keep reving up i don't see anythin wrong with the governor the weghts move free and the fork moves back and forth also if u have any idea please help thanks jason 6159694891 thanks

Shorten the link between gov arm and carb. by bending it down in the middle(toward drain plug). Don't bend the up and down rod for fear of a bind in cross shaft.  MACK
