Just curious if anyone might know the answer to this question.  Does AGCO, Westendorf, New Idea, etc still make a front end loader to fit an Allis Chalmers D-17 series 4??  Or is the only option to find an existing one from that period?  Any assistance would be much appreciated.  Thanks.

There was someone local to this area that was selling a westendorf loader for a D17 series 4 on craigslist a couple months back.   I think it was a wl-21 if I remember right.   Westendorf still lists that loader on their website so I would think it would still be available.

Most loader companies will have a new loader to fit a D17. Try Westendorf, Allied, Koyker, etc most will have something on their website. D17, 170 and 175 usually share brackets and many companies have universal brackets.

This is such a great web site.  All your suggestions were great.  I didn't even know Kelly was still around.  And Westendorf; well they said they'd also paint it orange and EVEN A-C decal it for me ! What outstanding service!!  Now if could only get AGCO to do that?!  Thanks again guys!!!!!!!!!!
