Guys here's a pic of that fire I saw climbing out of Athens Tn. this afternoon. Hope nobody was in it's path. The source of the fire is in about the 2 oclock position on the pic. Dana

Looks like the wild land firefighters will have a bit of work. Was it already on top of the ridge line or still climbing?

I couldn't really look at it too much as it was turbulent and I had 2 big fistsfull of jet in my hands at this time. I had my co snap the pic...and reported it to air traffic control just in case it hadn't yet been reported and they passed it on to the proper authorities.
