Came home today with a 9000 semi-mounted 5-16" plow, 74 4-14" snap-coupler plow, 1-16" mounted B plow, and what I think is an Oxnard snap-coupler toolbar with a middle breaker. Not sure how to post a photo of my loaded trailer.

Yes John, it was the Mallory auction in Chesaning, MI. I bought three of the items to outbid the scrap man. He still got a lot of good stuff.

Anyone know who got the parts 20-35 Longfender? I would like to keep in contact with whoever it is. Can PM or email me if you prefer. Thanks.
I think a lot of the stuff went reasonably, I was watching some of it online. If my coffers weren't empty I probably would have bought a few projects. Would have been really interested in one of those A's! And the 20-35 of course.

Sounds good Fred I figured out where it went, thanks. And yeah, you are right, I didn't look very close at the A's one really is a 25-40. Wouldn't mind having one of them too someday, LOL! Sounds like a lot of things are going to good homes. That is the only good thing about breaking up a lifetime collection like this.

Things seem pretty cheap, especially the signs. Was in Ohio last week, considered going north on the way home but then would have to come back with a big truck....

I had to leave the sale with a empty trailer due to brake issues on the truck. Near miss with the rear of a trailer on 23 north at 75 mph busted a brake line on the rear behind the fuel tank. 4hours trying to get parts and no luck I crimped and folded the line and went on my way. The trip was not a total loss as the cab and bed soon filled with literature ,parts and toys. The best part of the trip was visiting with old friends and meeting new ones. money couldn't buy the time spent with dear friends ( Paul ) that have the same hobby. Pleasure meeting Matt and wish you the best my friend. As for me I made it home safe and back at work. Scott Rutledge

Thanks Matt, You had a lot goin on and there is no problem here. I came after the u and it earned about what I was willing to go so I didn't feel so bad. Otherwise 178 wouldn't have got all he won had I not had problems. You know I put 250000 on a pickup and should expect a problem once and a while. Getting all the lines replaced now but the pinched place in the seat that happened when I saw that truck wasn't moving is going to be there a while to remind me. Haha just kidding I didn't have time to. I was blessed to be there and hope to see you again soon

Was it a Chevy? My 97 has no rust on the body, but the brake lines are TERRIBLE! Have another HD3500 and it is the same way!!!

Supposedly GM and Ford are putting a thick coating of something to keep the rust off the lines.

GM is putting coated brake lines on the newer trucks I think starting in 2007, but doesn't rule out rust because the end inch or so is still bare steel! I was blesses to be able to make it to the sale on Saturday as well, I think my buddy and I were the only Canadians there that I know of!
