While back I shared this little story but now I wanted to try to put pictures with it.
I had gone down to the neighbors trucking outfit, as I pulled up one of the drivers said hey go check out what's on my trailer. When I went over to his truck he had the lowbed on with two big allis chalmers transformers on it. So we snagged the name plates off them and a gauge with AC on it.

They look like they are oil cooled, and quite likely have PCB in the oil.
I helped remove some leaking ones, with PCB in them, from a factory.

And you DON'T want anything with PCB in it setting around ! If the EPA found em settin around, they would add your property to a super--fund clean up list.

Dusty and Tuck are right! You don't want anything around with PCB oil in it! Take it from someone that works for the Power Co.  We have some placards on some of our substation equipment. Little rectangular signs that say "Siemens-Allis" on them. Next time I'm in a substation, I'll havta' take a pic!

These had just come from someplace that drained the oil out, before going to scrap yard. But I hear what your saying
