I know is not AC but here goes.
My brother has a friend who's father inherited a barn full of farm equipment from his dad when he died.  They don't farm and have no use for it.  They have a MF 1135 tractor that has been sitting for at least 10 years.  It ran good when parked.  He told me if I can get it going I can take it and the 18 ft disk hooked to it and use it for the season.  If it works good we can talk about a price in the fall.
I am not familiar with the fuel system on these tractors.  Are there any things to watch for when attempting to start one that has been sitting for a while?  I don't want to damage anything.  Is it standard hand prime then crack injector lines to bleed the air out procedure?
The plan is to head over there with some good batteries and fresh fuel.  Drain the tanks and put clean fuel in.  Once it runs for a bit its gonna get new oil and filters.
Any and all advice is welcomed.

Well I guess no one has any Massey Ferguson 1135 experience huh?  I drained the fuel, dumped the filters and filled everything with fresh fuel.  Primed the hell out of it and cranked a bit wile loosening injector lines.  I must have done something right!

I think I will run it a bit first then change the oil and filters.  Heres hoping I can get the AC working cheap!

Sounds like you did the right things to get her running.  Tractors sitting inside with diesel fuel in the system usually aren't too hard to get running.  Gas engines are another story.
Even if it is the evil red color, it should do you a good job.  Price seems right, so far at least.

A link to pictures of a Massey 1135 for those of us who have never seen a 1135.

Those 6 cylinder Perkins aren't to finicky. FIL had an 1105, 1135, & 1155. He always liked the 6 cylinder 1135 better than the V8 1155. Just be careful messing around on the dark side....!! Kip
