Last night Jenny and I textured the drywall in the last room of our remodel. I had a bag of dry texture in the garden shed. It was dark when I started mixing. I learned early on to mix mix and mix some more. I finally brought the mix in and filled the hopper. Away I went feeling good that we were about to finish the last room. All the sudden it stops. I know the drill. Remove the nozzle and remove the lump. This time the lump was a sunflower seed. Over and over this happened. I wanted to go buy new but it was too late to make the long trip to the city to Home Depot. We really need this done last night. We fought through the aggravation and finished the job. It would have been a better finish without all the start and stops but it looks pretty good considering. We have carpet coming Wednesday so we need one day for primer and one or two for paint. Jenn starts back to work tonight for 5 nights straight.
I left a bucket of water in the shed Igor next to the bag of texture. There was a dead furry mouse in the bucket this morning when I went to clean up.š |

WHY are them critters so darn pesky?!?! They can get into anything,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,and do. You need an old time BIG strainer and that would have gotten your job done a lot sooner.

Had it not been so late Iād of found a screen and poured it through it. Had I known ahead I could of sifted the dry powder. I never saw a thing.
