Anyone try to cut beans and leaving the extra concave in that is added for corn? Just trying to minimize labor going from corn to beans. This is an F.

I never changed any of that on my "G" combines, just changed heads and made a few adjustments! try it without doing it...might work for you!

The only thing I change is concave clearance, 1\4" on beans and wheat, 3\4-1" (depends on cob size) in corn, then set the chaffer and seive. Then speed for cylinder.

DmPaul89, assuming your F has rasp cylinder bars & channel type concave bars, which concave positions do you use(there are a total of 6). Like others have said, the same concave positions will usually work for corn or soybeans, given their respective cylinder height clearance & cylinder speed.
I like 1,2,4,&6 (1 is on the front rock door).
