Have the double remote factory coupler setup. How do you couple these? I have tried just pushing in with male end but end up having to reach in and grab what little hose I can get and pull out on it to get the male end in. It is pretty hard to do. What am I doing wrong? I have pressure released, tractor not running, and work levers after it is shut off. Male end tested for pressure and relieved if it has any. (messy). Thanks

Should be levers on each coupler you pull back on to allow it to receive the hose end. Let go of the lever as the coupler locks on.

I don't think that the early tractors had those levers. They sure worked easier once they had them.

Our 200 had a break away style, they are now standard pioneer couplings. Have also switched a couple of the 185’s to pioneer as well, they had a lever on the sides.

You have to push the sleeve on the female back to insert the hale end. I put Kubota couplers on my 200. Just push the male in to connect and pull to disconnect.

I hate those dang spring loaded things. Soon as it cools off a little I'm gonna take those dang springs outta there and bolt them solid.

I've never done it, but I believe they're just standard Pioneer couplers. They currently have 4050 couplers in there, but you should be able to install 4250 couplers in there. You'd simply push the hose into them, and they'd give way to allow the hose to couple. They'd unhook the same way they currently do.

The Pioneer 4250 have to be clamped on the sleeve to have breakaway capability. The Kubota ones can be ridged mounted. I think the Pioneer part is 8450 series. They have -14 ORB threads but an adapter can be used. The bad part is they are around $100 ea.
