HOLY CRAP!!! I just looked on the AgWeb market site for local cash prices, and they're down to $3.35 !!?? Sadly, I've not followed the corn markets for at least 2 months but I never DREAMED the market would get this low :-(. Have to wonder what the BTO's are going through ??

CBoT and the stock market are getting blasted. The rich get richer. Sure wish I hadn't already bought the spring diesel.

I remember dollar a bushel ear corn. Don't know hoe much it would shell out, but I remember Dad grumbling about it. But we ground and fed most of out and got more for it, and the fat cats got fatter.

Just out of curiosity, how's the wheat market treating you??Seems like "here", if you can find a market, they come up with all kinds of "docks" that make wheat a better plow-down crop?

Here it was my only money crop. --good yield excellent quality ( high test weight, correct moisture, et.)  Beans made a small amount over costs But wheat was king! ---Sis still has wheat on her farm but tenant don't know how to grow it, he only wants corn so the wheat never gets planted or fertilized on time resulting in poor yield/quality/etc.
Market here is still 17 miles to terminal, no biggie in a semi.
